Mojave National Preserve

Mojave National Preserve, California, USA – 2015.In January we spent a few days visiting friends in Palm Springs and on the drive back to Las Vegas we took a back road trip suggested by a friend. We traveled through Joshua Tree, Amboy, Kelso, Cima and Prim and along the way passed through the Mojave National Preserve. It was a great drive and a lot less traffic compared to taking the main highways. In Palm Springs we stayed at the Ingleside Inn, a small boutique hotel with 1920 Spanish style architecture, a great restaurant and lots of history.
